Gabriel de Saint-Aubin was a French draftsman and engraver who contributed fashion illustrations to the Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Françaises in the late 18th century. This publication, created between 1778 and 1787, is considered one of the earliest and most comprehensive fashion magazines, offering a detailed look into the clothing and accessories of the French aristocracy and bourgeoisie during the reign of Louis XVI.
